Community Compact

Every member of the Launchpad23 community plays a critical role in building the culture of inquiry, curiosity, and growth that makes everything at Launchpad23 possible.

The Community Compact is our way of helping new members understand how they can contribute to the community in a positive way, and the boundaries that help keep the community safe for everyone.

We do no intentional harm.

  • We actively help others interact in a positive manner.

  • Intentionally malicious behavior has no place in Launchpad23.

  • If someone is upset, we immediately alert the person leading the session, or a community moderator. 

Safety first, no excuses.

  • Our cameras are on during sessions.

  • We do not screen capture and/or distribute images and/or communications of community members.

  • If there is a safety concern, we immediately alert the person leading the session, or a community moderator.

We leave others better off than we found them.

  • We actively encourage others with our words and actions.

  • We listen with an open heart and mind, and seek understanding.

  • We look for ways to make a positive difference. 

We try to understand.

  • We explore what we do not understand. 

  • We ask questions, and are committed to a culture of inquiry. 

  • We actively make space for the voices and ideas of others.
